NCAFDO welcomes you!
The North Central Association of Food and Drug Officials (NCAFDO) is a regional affiliate of AFDO, the International Association of Food and Drug Officials. Our mandate is to encourage uniformity in the enactment and enforcement of laws affecting foods, drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices at all levels of government. We encourage and support programs which contribute to consumer protection, and assist members by providing technical training opportunities to ensure uniformity of inspection and analytical techniques.
Our partnership is based on our commitment to good communication and cooperation amongst our members, as well as with other associations and groups of food, drugs, medical devices and public health officials.
Who does NCAFDO serve?
A non-profit association, NCAFDO members come from regulatory agencies, regulated industries, and academia in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The geographic boundaries of NCAFDO in the United States comprise Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. In Canada, NCAFDO includes Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Membership, however, is not limited within these boundaries.
